Product Description
This is a remote controlled, almost-ready-to-fly, nitro powered Rutan
74 Defiant 65'' Airplane. It is new-in-box.
The Rutan Model 74 Defiant is an ARF nitro gas twin-engine aircraft with the engines in a push-pull configuration. It has a mixture of forward-mounted (tractor) propeller and backward-mounted (pusher) propeller. With two propellers mounted on the aircraft's centerline, it avoids the drag as seen on other models with wing-mounted engines. It is easy to fly even if one of the two engines fails, as the thrust provided by the remaining engine is symmetrical. Unlike a conventional twin-engine aircraft, It won't yaw to the direction of the failed engine.
